Are you ready for close competitive racing? Then maybe the GT Race Challenge is for you?

 

The ‘GT Race Challenge Series’ is owned and operated by GT Race Experience Inc. and is considered a ‘Private, Closed, Club Event’.

What is it all about?
It is all about camaraderie, safety, sportsmanship and just good fun! There will be specific passing rules on a fully marshalled track, so playing nice is mandatory!

If you are looking for no holds, full-on door-to-door, don’t give an inch racing. This is not the place for you.

General Requirement

1. Street legal cars or track cars in good working order.

2. Driver Eligibility: Drivers who have been signed off by the organizers. (Advanced drivers who have been observed at SMP and signed off or are currently racing in the Calabogie GT series.) 

3. Advanced Track Day/ Lapping day/ HPDE experience, comfortable driving in traffic and a clear understanding of the flags and their meanings. Racing licence not required.

4. Approved Helmet (Snell 2010 or newer)

5. In-car Camera

6. Transponder (Available to rent)

Entry Fee

$266+ HST for the Race. 

 

If you are interested in more track time, feel free to join the track day for the Full day, AM or PM. 

A minimum of 6 racers is required to run the race. If the minimum isn't reached, registered racers will receive a full refund or can join the full Track day. 

 

Transponder Rentals

Transponder rental is an extra $60, paid at the track on the day. A $240 deposit is required.

Format

• Races will be held on the select Track Day By GT Race events.

• Schedule

  • Drivers Meeting         3:00 pm

  • Qualifying (15min)     3:30 pm

  • Race (25 min)             4:30 pm

• 3 classes: GT1, GT2, and GT3. Classes are determined by lap time. "Bracket Racing"

• Laps will be timed

• Zero tolerance for any form of contact

• Shared cars allowed
