
Master Winter Driving in a Safe and Controlled Environment
Our Winter Driving School welcomes drivers of all experience levels to build confidence and skill behind the wheel. Through multiple classroom sessions followed by hands-on exercises in your own vehicle, you'll discover the real-world benefits of improved car control and better understand the limitations of your vehicle in a low-friction environment.
You will practice a variety of car control and emergency techniques to gain better control and confidence in your ability to take on Canada's winter driving conditions.

What's Difference between the LOCATIONs?

Events are run on a skidpad. The paved surface allows us to create a low-friction environment regardless of the weather.
Ottawa

Events are run on a purpose-built winter track in a field. This is a large ice and snow surface, allowing more room to practice. This facility is weather-dependent.
What You'll Learn:
You'll master essential winter driving skills including accident avoidance, emergency lane changes, controlling a sliding vehicle, and navigating half-plowed roads—along with other critical techniques for Canadian winter conditions.

Vehicle Control: Proper driver positioning for maximum control and mirror adjustment for optimal visibility

Vehicle Systems: Understanding modern safety features like ABS braking systems, plus expert tire recommendations and winter maintenance essentials

You'll leave with greater confidence, sharper skills, and a complete understanding of what both you and your vehicle are truly capable of in winter driving conditions.

Event Days Schedule:
This is a full-day course, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Your day will be a mix of classroom theory with real-life practice in your car on our track.
